about me

Me in the US of A

Hi! I'm Chloe! I'm from Louisiana, and after I graduated in May of 2014, I joined the Peace Corps and am currently spending teaching science to kiddos in Burkina Faso.

I wanted to keep my friends and fam updated on my shenanigans, but figured endless emails might get annoying...and this way, I can keep everyone posted without requiring the obligatory "cool, chlo" response every single time. But feel free to do that in the comments if you so choose!

Claims to Fame (or shame?):
  - eating an entire pumpkin pie by myself
  - leading Louisiana to first
Me in the BF
place in the spirit competition at National Latin Convention (because yes, that's a thing)

  - the ability to recite every line in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone movie
  - knowledge of random, obscure, and perhaps worthless figures of speech ( << that's tricolon crescens right there in case you were wondering)

These are a few of my favorite things:
  - being pet like a lap dog
  - musicals and cheesy movies
  - fireworks
  - red, red, wine
  - puns

My life goals:

  - have a great dane puppy baby named Atticus (Finch, obviously)
  - .....that's it, really

Fun Fact:
Both of those pictures are, in fact, of me.
Also it's killing me a little bit that they aren't aligned properly. I'm sorry.

  1. Hi Chloe. It's been fun checking out your blog! My name is Michelle, and I was one of the PC Blog It Home contest winners a couple years ago. I’d like to invite you to a six-week Blog Challenge I'm hosting to help PCVs “level up” their Third Goal blogs in the New Year. This is “phase one" for an online project I’m working on with the aim of helping bloggers to promote cross-cultural understanding. I'd be honored if you would visit my new site: http://BloggingAbroad.org, watch the video (or read the transcript if loading videos is a challenge), and sign up to join the adventure in blogging. Take care and happy blogging! Michelle
